A Postcard From Ghana – Comic Relief

I got my postcard this morning from the brilliant Team Honk who have just returned from doing some work for Comic Relief work in Ghana. It reminded me instantly of the red book we have here and taking Little Z for his jabs…and taking it completely for granted…

Comic Relief in Ghana

Here’s the message…

This morning we visited a vaccine clinic in Accra and observed mothers taking babies for their jabs. Here you can see a mother with her baby waiting to be vaccinated. Babies here receive regular vaccinations as in the UK only much more intensive with up to 5 vaccinations at each visit,

This is a digital postcard sent from TeamHonk (www.mammasaurus.co.uk; www.aresidence.co.uk; www.mummybarrow.com ) during their travels with Comic Relief in Ghana celebrating #goodwork.

For the past 25 years the money raised through Red Nose Day has been changing the lives of the poorest and most disadvantaged people in the UK and Africa. Let’s Keep Up the Good Work. Find out how at rednoseday.com

  1. They were so well behaved, all these babies. And just like here they were not happy after their vaccination but a quick cuddle from mum and all was well again!

And they were vaccinated against diseases that, sadly, ever year kill too many in Africa

Thanks so much for posting about #GoodWork

#TeamHonk have been blown away by all the support.
