Little Zs Random Funnies

As Little Z starts talking more and more, the axis has shifted slightly for us and some of his antics are more about what he’s saying than what he’s doing. It’s giving us a bit of a glimpse into how a toddlers mind processes things and the random funnies leaves us giggling in a childish heap or slightly speechless…and then giggling in a childish heap.

Some of the random funnies from this week…

Lifting his feet up to show my dad the “N” on his socks from Next…
Little Z: “Look Nana! It’s H!
My Dad: “Well done! That’s a N..”
Little Z: “No..H!!”

Spotting something isn’t quite right in the bath…Goes screaming to call OH..
Little Z: “Daaadaa!! Come here!! Come here!”
Pulls him all the way to the bathroom.
OH with mock dramatic concern: “What’s the matter? What is it?”
Little Z pointing to drain…
“Look!! It’s a spider!!”

On seeing a toddler crying very loudly at the supermarket..
Little Z mock cries as we pass her trolley: “WaaaH….I crying!…look!! Baby crying!”
Me.. rushes past very quickly whilst shhh-ing Z.

Whilst trying to peruse items in a shop with Little Z…
Little Z: “LEAVE IT!! LEAVE IT!!”
Me: “Shhhhhh!!”
Little Z: “Want Walk?”
(Repeat couple more times till I give up and give in to going for a walk round the shop).

And my favourite thing of the week has to be him shouting “Mummy!” everytime this lady pops up on CBeebies…

  1. I can’t wait for my little one to start talking but then you remind me that it is impossible to stop them saying inappropriate things when you are out and about so I’ll just enjoy the quiet for a few weeks yet!

  2. Haha! It’s hilarious, but mortifying, when your littles start to ‘mock’ other children isn’t it. My two both ‘copy’ other children crying in the supermarket and whilst at the time it’s beyond embarassing I can’t help but chuckle at them later 😉 xx

  3. Lol! Haha aww and you forgot the one where he mocked his cousin about wanting to go home last week in front of the whole family ! Hehe made me chuckle though! X

  4. Very funny! The cute stuff makes the tantrums all worthwhile. Mind you, my 4yo started a sentence the other day whilst talking to my friend: “My mummy likes to drink …” but left it at that!

  5. I simply want to mention I’m new to blogs and honestly savored this web site. Most likely I’m want to bookmark your blog . You definitely come with very good writings. Cheers for sharing with us your blog.

  6. Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with a few pics to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is magnificent blog. A fantastic read. I’ll definitely be back.
